This is my THIRD soft flame lighter from Sisuman (I wanted to have my name engraved on it and I was so pleased with my former two that I just pulled the trigger and ordered another one as soon as their wonderful new tamper went on sale). The quality of the product is superb, they have never failed me! The lighter has a wonderful “roaring 20’s retro steampunk look” that is gorgeous, it feels sturdy in your hand and you can easily see that it has been crafted and engraved with uttermost care. I couldn’t ask for more and I truly recommend it to anyone who is looking to make a difference when lighters come to mind.

Love the lighter I needed the soft flame for pipes. I find it helpful that the flame stays lit without having to hold a button down like some other lighters and I can use it left handed. This my second lighter from this company, I have been using the cigar version for awhile now without any issues. I have smoked cigars and pipes for over 40 years and these lighters are what I am carrying daily.

The build quality is good, nice materials. However the torch itself is inconsistent. I bought it for outdoor use since it is a torch. However, mine goes out quite easily with a nominal amount of wind and I am forced to relight frequently. Not sure if I have a lemon or if they are all like that. I would only recommend for indoor use.

I was skeptical. Honestly I was expecting to end up with a flea market quality lighter that breaks after a couple of weeks. I'm happy to report that I am wrong. I really enjoy this lighter. It took a little getting used to but I prefer it to a Bic now, though I wouldn't keep it in a pocket with a bunch of other stuff. That said, it does fit perfectly in all my Levi's 5th pockets which is where it lives when I'm away from my desk. It is plenty durable, but I did notice the fastener that holds the tube with the flint got a little wobbly after a few days. It hasn't gotten worse so it doesn't bother me.

Sisuman made an excellent product with prompt service and shipping. I have had zero problems with the lighter thus far. It's so much better than my Zippo and classier too. Keep it up. :)

I was looking for a vintage lighter for everyday use. I always find ordering stuff from Etsy a bit of a gamble but ordering from Sisuman didn't disappoint neither did the lighter itself. It's made out of proper steel, well constructed and you can tell it's a labor of love. Shipping was quick and without hiccups. The packaging is stellar too, came in a nice suède and padded box with extra flints and Instruction manual. This lighter is now my go to to light my cigars with. A great lighter that has a retro look. Heavy, sturdy and manly. There were some issues with it as the butane was leaking. I had a friend look at it and now the runs smoothly and without problems.

This is a beast of a lighter. Great quality, delivered sooner than expected. I usually smoke open air and, being based in the UK, it’s usually very windy. Where many others have failed, this lighter worked exceptionally well even in these tricky circumstances. I would have rated this 6 stars if only this had been an option.

If you’re looking for a quality soft flame butane lighter, this is it! To give this review some context, I use this lighter for my pipe, cigars and campfires. This lighter is a great alternative to an Old Boy at half the cost. It fits nicely in your hand and gives you a consistent experience. The flame height adjustment and refilling process is straightforward and access is kept hidden underneath a screw cap on the bottom. I appreciate how the lighter is constructed with quality material and aspects weren’t compromised to increase profit margin, which is all too common today. Finally, Sisuman’s excellent customer service warranty was the key to pulling the trigger on this purchase, as it took much of the risk out of paying someone in Finland $75 CAD for a lighter. Excellent product! Highly recommend!

I love the Sisuman accessory bundle. I searched for it after reading a really good review of the Sisuman cigar cutter in Cigar Aficionado magazine. I’ve been looking for a good cutter for a long time and never found one I like that is reasonably priced. I almost didn’t buy the accessory bundle because I’ve always used a torch lighter to light my cigars. However, I highly recommend the Sisuman soft flame lighter now that I’m using it because, unlike the torch, the soft flame doesn’t scorch and alter the flavor of your fine tobacco. These products are solid and feel great to hold and touch. They are straight forward to use, not overly complicated with too many tools that you don’t really need for smoking a cigar. The design is awesome, both functional and aesthetically appealing. I enjoyed my communications with the company rep.

I so totally love my Sisuman cigar accessory bundle! I first found out about Sisuman from a very complementary article in Cigar Aficionado magazine. Outstanding Cigar Scissors! Believe the hype - these Sisuman cigar scissors are very sharp and deliver a clean, crisp cut on cigars. They feel great in the hand and are high quality. Worth every penny. (The leather case is a nice touch, I just wish they had a light brown option.) I also have a brand new pair of Xikar cigar scissors. While the multi-tool functions and folding capability are really cool, the Xikar scissors are not nearly as sharp as these. And the Xikars are sharp, but a step below the Sisuman cigar scissors. Seller shipped out super fast and they arrived in no time at all. Very professional experience from this seller!

This lighter is beautiful, feels good in the hand and has an adjustable flame. I was so happy when I received my Susiman. I smoked one tabacco pipe bowl with my favorite pipe. This must be user error. This happened again on the third day, now I had an issue. So I took my lighter to my local pipe shop. He said there was a leak in the tank. So I contacted Alexander about a refund. This review is not about the lighter, which would have been great if it hadn't leaked but about the stellar customer service and no questions asked full refund return policy Alexander has. My point is, if you like this lighter, buy it, Alexander has your back!

These, to me, work better for cutting the cigar cap. And it looks cool when you pull these out in the cigar shop.

The item quality was substandard. Aesthetically it was good but the sealing rings were not working. The lighter leaked gas from every opening in the lighter; the screws, the gas filler valve and the top too.
